Terms of reading
What the Journal is, what it is not, and what you may do with it.
These are the terms on which the Journal is published. They are short because there is not much to say.
What the Journal is
The Choice Journal is a publication of opinion and desk research about consumer brands. It is not advice, financial or otherwise, and it is not a substitute for reading a brand’s own terms before you buy. Prices, policies and ranges change; the Notes at the end of each piece record when we read them, and we make no promise that they are still current when you do.
Accuracy
We take care over facts and correct them when we are wrong, with a record on the Errata page. Opinions are ours and are offered as such. We accept no liability for purchases made, or not made, on the strength of anything written here.
Copyright
The text of the Journal is ours. You may quote from it for review or comment with attribution and a link. You may not republish pieces wholesale or use them to train anything. Photographs are used under licence from their photographers through Pexels and remain theirs.
Links
Links to other sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement of everything found there. The disclosure page explains how the brand links work.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, write to us first; we are easier to deal with than a court.
